Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Joint Hypermobility & Dysautonomia Care
Dr. Daszykowski has extensive clinical experience working with individuals with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and joint hypermobility. He recognizes that these conditions can present unique challenges related to joint stability, strength, mobility, pain, and functional performance. His approach emphasizes individualized exercise, movement control, functional strength, and strategies to help patients improve physical capacity while respecting their specific needs and limitations.
Because EDS and hypermobility frequently occur alongside dysautonomia — including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and other autonomic regulation challenges — Dr. Daszykowski is also experienced in working with dysautonomia patients. He understands the complex interplay between connective tissue disorders and autonomic dysfunction, and he tailors treatment to safely accommodate symptoms such as orthostatic intolerance, exercise intolerance, and cardiovascular variability. His sessions are paced to respect each patient's autonomic tolerance, gradually and safely building capacity without triggering symptom flares.
Care That Goes Beyond Symptom Management
At Restored Physical Therapy, Dr. Daszykowski's mission is to provide personalized, patient-centered care that goes beyond symptom management. He believes physical therapy should empower individuals to better understand their bodies, restore confidence in movement, build strength, and maintain an active lifestyle. Whether recovering from surgery, managing a chronic orthopedic condition, navigating the challenges of hypermobility or dysautonomia, or pursuing preventative wellness, his goal is to help each person move toward a stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
